hi im a girl using her 4th ipod in two years!!
im honestly not doing anything wrong to them but they just keep on dying! what is wrong with them?!
i cant switch to other mp3s either cus i really love itunes and i absolutely adore my ipod u2 edition when its working properely!!
what should i do??

oh no... you definitely should change to something else and flush ipods down your toilet..geez... that is the main reason why i chose sony.. their battery last omega long...

although the firmware "itunes of sony" is real waste of a computer space. it takes gazillion years to load, let alone put music to mp3 itself..

i think iriver products are good. I had a cheap version one before. the battery is superb and the sound quality is even nicer. you can't go wrong on sony and iriver. i guarantee mark's head on it.

i have a creative zen and i think its really good i've had it since christmas now and i've had no problems with it plus the battery lasts ages....24 hours i think and its 20gb so lotsa lotsa music!! the program that comes with it is really good too i much prefer it to itunes cos its so much faster

I have had the 5th generation video iPod since christmas, and it's going great

It's 30GB so lots of space, the look is good (black) and the battery is still going strong. Only problem is one of the head-phones has died from someone pulling it to hard, and i need to buy a new set.

aww poor dani, now you'll have a strange sensation in one ear.

The Creative zen does look appealing to me. I personally dont like the Ipod due to a their dominance and b the problems above and finally c they have their own file format which can only be used on their players!

I had a iRiver to start with, but it didn't work.

I was very sad, as i think that they are better then iPods as well, but ohwell..

I've always been against the Apple monopoly and the insane price tags they put on things. God forbid if someone was to buy you an iPod for a Xmas present, youll have to spend twice the money its worth to prepare it for every day use.
