mate in panic

Help me
my best mate is going through the whole im so ugly and fat phase
im really worried coz it seems to be getting worse...
im scared she will result to self harm or something else
i have tried reasurring her but nothing seems to work
i dont want to sit back and watch her suffer
i know this could all be to do with hormones
but im still worried
please help
any suggestions
?

I know what you are going through with your friend. Just come straight out and ask her how she feels, if you are really worried talk to your family and other friends and ask what yuo think your should do. If you notice her not eating or self harming, make sure you tell an adult straight away, as soon as you notice. I didn't tell anyone when my friend stopped eating and put herself on strict diets and she ended up being hospitilized with bulimia. Just watch out for your friend.
