Personally, I think 'love making' is just what people think is the nicer word than 'sex'.

But I did find this on Yahoo! Answers and I guess it's a pretty good idea.


What the difference between sex and making love?
when you have sex you tend to only think about trying to get yourself off. but i think when you make love you think about you and your partner

I simply agree with the poster above. The similarity though is you do the act itself but the difference is.. Making love is more passionate, and there's really an emotional attachment. While having sex, it doesn't necessarily mean you love the person, you can simply do it for lust or just doing it for pleasure.
